Aloha and a big welcome to fellow romance erotica Muse It Up writer Alix Richards and member of The Lush and Blush Club on fb!!
Alix writes about the deep mysteries and connection of twin flames or twin souls. A subject that always is close to my own heart. Travel through the mystical and heart felt journey in her books. Follow Joy and Jairo through their soul connection and unbreakable bond. She's also just released a new story through Muse It Up Publishing Gods’
Stones: Dark Jewel
Tell our readers a wee bit about yourself. What are 5
things you wished you’d done, have done or are still to do, on the Bucket List?
J
1. Physically
meet my flame-mate (know him, but haven’t stood in front of him yet). Yep, I’m
a believer. :-)
2. Travel
to all the historical places in the world.
3. Visit
Hawaii
4. Travel
around the country without the worry of money holding me back (is that two?
LOL).
5. Find
the fountain of youth, or gift of immortality (that will eventually stop once
I’ve seen everything), because there isn’t enough time to do all I’d like too.
Just sayin’…
Tell us about the genre you write, why do you love it
and how did you get into it?
Erotic romance with
paranormal elements and fantasy tendencies. I fell into Erotic romance
completely by accident. Just so happens, my characters are intensely passionate
with one another and that puts them in erotic romance. I have to say I love it
because there really aren’t a whole lot of rules, which works great for the sort
of writer I am.
What’s your most favorite restaurant in the world?
Where, why and the best dish/es they make?
I’m not really a
foodie. Although, most places that serve pizza are up there. I mean, who
doesn’t LOVE pizza? LOL
Remember those ads for Expedia (if not, just play
along) that asked, ‘If you could go anywhere in the world, but have to go right
now?’ Where would you have gone and would you have said to YES to right now? What
pulls and entices you to that country?
England. Cause from
there I could have also visit Scotland
and Ireland .
Three birds with one stone as they say. History. There is a rich history in the
British Isles .
What parts of you, are incorporated into your
characters?
Their perseverance,
I’d have to say. My characters don’t let things go just because it’s not within
societal norms. I’m the same way. I’m odd like that. I don’t follow the flock
or herd. I’m my own person and hope that’s conveyed in my characters, as in
THEY don’t follow everyone else just because it’s what is the norm.
Favorite male hero/public figure you admire in the
world, dead or alive, and why?
Don’t have one per
se. I’m more of the type that tends to admire those who stand up for what they
believe in and what’s right. Not just what’s right for a select few but for
humans as a whole. Without race and gender getting in the way. So I guess one
person would be Martin Luther King Jr. Everyone is equal.
Favorite female heroine/public figure you admire in
the world, dead or alive, and why?
The same as above.
So all those activists in generations past that fought for equal right for
women. Susan B. Anthony comes to mind.
Have you ever had a character just “do their own
thing?” Have you ever had an argument with one of your characters? Or anything
else odd happen?
Yes! All the time.
*sigh* I swear they think they’re the ones in control. LOL Example: Originally,
when I conceived the ideas that have now become Twin Flames, Gods’ Stones and
the other upcoming series’, the first book was supposed to be the deities getting
together and unlocking the flame-mates that are in the books I have out now and
coming soon. It turned into what is now.
The deities are meeting and bringing
about divine mates only to separate and come back together again. Their story
isn’t the first one because neither my goddess or god would agree to disagree
and just get together as I wanted. Luckily, I was able to rearrange things and
still bring about the divine mates returning to the people. And yes, each of
them gave me that smug like as if they’d thought of it first. LOL
What’s your passion in life?
Writing, music,
reading, my children and grandson (only one right now).
What’s your writer’s routine? Do you write whenever or
at certain times? Are you a pantser or plotter? Where do you like to write?
Writer’s
routine…can’t say I really have one. If an idea has bitten me, I’ll write until
I pass out (key imprinted on my forehead and drool pooled on the tabletop, I
know, ewww! LOL.)
On a normal day, I hop through my email accounts, responding and
whatnot. Eventually I make my way to my other social accounts and while all
that’s going on I’m waiting for coffee to brew (staple diet for us writers I
swear. LOL). At some point I open the folders holding my current WIP’s (yes, I
always have more than one going at a time). Usually, when I have my mug in hand
I’m glancing through my works until one snaps my heels. There are times when I
don’t have to look, I just know which one is in demand.
I’m a total
pantser. I can’t plot to save my life. Okay, okay, so I CAN plan a little…very
little. Not enough to be considered a plotter though. I plot just enough to
keep the series in line with the books that came before and those that will
follow.
Right now, I’m in
the living room with everyone else. So distractions are a constant companion. Whether
it be from a person, phone ringing, movie or just flat out interesting
situation happening around. Eventually, I’ll get myself moved into my office.
As soon as my son is moved out…again. LOL
If you could pick a past life, what time period would
appeal to you and why? Would you be male or female? Rich or poor?
The era around
10,000 BCE in North America, the peace that would’ve been in life at that time.
Yes, I know about the animals and whatnot. But can you imagine looking in every
direction and seeing nothing but nature all around? The plants and natural
landscape. It would be the most beautiful thing in the world.
I would chose to
be a female, now if I could then chose a male in the next life that would be
great too. Getting a view of life before all the rules and regulations that
have governed our lives for the past two thousand years would be awesome. At
that time in history there really wasn’t rich or poor. But if that were the
case (as we don’t know a whole lot about that time in human history) I would
pick the richer side. Or rather the ruling class.

Alix is a prolific writer. You can find her series on twinsouls/flames at Muse or Amazon, plus her new series.
In an effort to
escape the reality that steps from the deepest recesses of her mind, Joy runs
away for a long weekend alone in a friend’s cabin. She hopes to use the time to
gain a logical perspective on an impossible situation.
Joy lives in her
dreams, but no longer lives there alone.
Jairo needs Joy to
be happy, even if it comes at his expense. Forced to remain patient, he walks
away from the woman of his heart and soul. He confines himself to his family’s
cabin to give Joy the time alone she requests.
Dreaming with Joy
isn’t new, but waking with her physically in his arms, sexy and wet, kicks
Jairo’s desire for her into a new stratosphere.
Confusing dreams and unexplainable reality
drops them into attack mode, neither quite ready for what destiny pushes their
way. As nature and destiny collide for both, Joy and Jairo, nothing will be the
same.
An accident wipes away Joy Lyons-Morgan's memories, but she's haunted by visions and dreams of a man she loves unconditionally. How will she find him without even knowing who she is?
Jairo Silverthorne understands his and Joy's struggles over being Twin Flames. They mirror and magnify each other in everything, including positives and negatives. So, where is she and why can't she hear his need?
Separated and alone, can Twin Flames find their way back to each other with only soul memories to light their way?
Twin Flames:
Soul Destiny (Twin Flames Book Three)
Destiny of the
Soul…If you knew your soul designed your destiny, would you follow the path?
What if all you had to do was face the deepest darkest fears within yourself to
claim your destiny, would you do it?
Joy Lyons-Morgan
must face her deepest darkest fears in order to claim her full destiny at her
flame-mate’s side. Will she? The acceptance of their kind is that everyone has
good and bad within them, balanced; she has to face those elements within
herself in order to stand at his side. Can she?
Jairo Silverthorne
knows and accepts the dark within him. It’s part of who he is and always will
be. He now has to wait and watch patiently while his divine match comes to
terms with the same inside herself.
Most don’t realize
the fears that lay inside, they are a part of us. Dictating how we see the
world. Joy and Jairo are given an opportunity to face those terrors and embrace
them.
The pay out? Their
destined future.
Twin Flames:
Soul Nature (Twin Flames Book Four)
“The Fates
made a mistake.” She rambled as she shoved a hand through her hair and walked
toward the sliding glass door. “They had to of, there’s no other explanation. Twin
Flames are mirror images, identical. You and I are not mirror images
or identical.”
Before he
could fully think through his actions, he stepped toward her, grabbed her
wrist, and held it too his heart. Kat stopped ranting and went completely
still.
“All I know is
my animals are at peace with you here.” Miguel stepped closer, his other hand
moved to her waist. He kept his voice low. “That hasn’t happened before.”
He released
her wrist. It remained against him.
Kat
Windcrest-Lyons hasn’t liked Miguel since he cut her pigtail in kindergarten.
She avoids anything to do with him. Now she’s the maid-of-honor in her cousin’s
wedding ceremony in Vegas and Miguel is the best-man. She vows to handle him
for those few hours for her cousin, then return home with no harm done.
Miguel
Silverthorne can’t explain why he’s drawn to Kat’s hair. It changes color with
her mood. When she’s angry, it bands like the stripes of a tiger. Whether by
those actions or others, he maintains a distance from the fiery female, not
once considering the reasoning behind his connection to her, until Las Vegas.
What is it about that city that has people,
hybrids included, losing their common sense? He doesn’t know, but now he has a
flame mate and he refuses to let her go.
Twin Flames:
Soul Revealed (Twin Flames Book Five)
“You aren’t the
only one plagued by dreams. I’ve had them too.” His eyes roamed over her features,
lovingly caressing each curve. Recalling their earlier kiss, his body hardened.
He clenched his jaw. “I’ve dreamed about you.”
Toria’s eyes
widened and her mouth opened in a perfect ‘O’.
“The same heat and
passion you had in yours, was in mine.”
Her throat worked as if she couldn’t swallow
and her lips silently moved.
Living together
for fifteen years Victoria ‘Toria’ Blackhawk and Diego Ramos Silverthorne have
no idea there is more between them than friendship. Until erotic dreams plague
both and they must face the deeper meaning behind their nightly dream-romps.
Will Diego accept,
Toria, the soul revealed as his divine mate? Can Toria get him to realize that
his genetics aren’t a sentence to a lonely life?
Gods’ Stones:
Dark Jewel (Wild Darkness Calls/Gods’
Stones Book One)
A small squeak escaped Lenna. She
straightened and stepped back to the window, mouth agape, eyes nearly bulging.
At the last moment, she swung away. No, the Ancient Gods wouldn’t be that
cruel. Not now.
Ridge’s throat worked as his gaze filled with
Lenna. Her back was to him and ramrod straight. The black glass of the window
reflected her startled expression.
She was beautiful.
Lenna Manchester, a Hawaiian hybrid, will do
anything to save her kidnapped family members, even trade sacred Gods’ Stones,
going against the Hybrid Council’s laws.
Ridge Silverthorne, a Purebred and highly
trained Terentian Warrior, has a mission to capture and confine Lenna for ties
to illegal activities.
Once Ridge confines Lenna, their true natures
take over, leaving them both defenseless against the other…
Oh dear gods, not that. Please, don’t let it
be that…anything but…that.
